Barry Curtin CA (SA)
Chief Executive Officer
Barry is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience across financial services and technology. He spent nearly 14 years as CFO of NTT EMEA (Dimension Data), and previously held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, ABN AMRO and Goldman Sachs International, after completing his articles at KPMG. At PrivIQ, Barry leads commercial strategy, revenue, partnerships and market expansion.

Tai Chesselet
Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Tai co-founded PrivIQ on a conviction that compliance should be operational, not just documented. He has spent nearly 10 years building the PrivIQ platform and brings over 35 years of experience in technology architecture. As CTO, Tai is responsible for product architecture, AI-assisted workflow design, and the human-verified governance principles that define how PrivIQ works. He is the reason the platform covers GDPR, POPIA, NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act and beyond, and keeps adding frameworks faster than competitors can respond.

Michiel Verburg
Director · Amsterdam
Michiel is a Director at PrivIQ, based in Amsterdam. He anchors PrivIQ’s Dutch corporate presence and supports the business across senior leadership, corporate strategy and finance, partnerships, contracts and corporate governance.

Nick Eckert
Co-Founder and Director · Geneva
Nick is a Co-Founder and Director at PrivIQ, based in Geneva. A technology entrepreneur with a track record of building and scaling businesses, Nick contributes to PrivIQ across global partnerships, senior leadership and strategic direction.

Russell Raizenberg
Head of Customer Success
Russell leads the team our clients speak to when it matters most. Onboarding, configuration, getting live, and making sure the platform actually fits how their team works. He brings 25 years of professional experience to every client engagement, with a GRC background at BP. In recent years he has specialised in SaaS data privacy compliance, designing and delivering programmes across GDPR, UK GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, POPIA and other global frameworks. That implementation and support discipline is one of the things clients consistently mention in their G2 reviews.

Linda Botes
Technology Lead
Linda leads the technical development of the platform end-to-end, from architecture and design through to deployment and governance. She has over three decades of software development experience and a BSc in Computer Science. She brings deep technical knowledge to the table alongside product thinking, turning complex privacy and governance requirements into secure, compliant systems. Outside of technology, Linda is happiest with her family, somewhere outdoors, preferably doing something with a little adventure and a lot of fresh air.

Benjamin King
Commercial Director
Benjamin leads PrivIQ’s commercial function across direct sales, channel and partnerships. He works with privacy, risk and compliance professionals at organisations trying to work out whether PrivIQ is right for them, and his job is to make that conversation as useful as possible whether it ends in a sale or not. He brings over 16 years of working in industry, consulting and more recently a decade of working around InfoSec and GRC supporting technology growth, and running strategic enterprise engagements across EMEA and APJ.
